Thank you for your interest in becoming a Brewery Sponsor for 2021 Bend Oktoberfest!

In the past, brewery sponsors have donated $1,000 in kegs of beer + all additional kegs needed for the festival at wholesale cost.  Due to COVID19, we've reimagined our festival and our sponsorship packages.  We know that our breweries have had, to be blunt, a real crappy year trying to survive the global pandemic.  We want to help you recover. That's why this year we designed Bend Oktoberfest to drive valuable customers directly to your location!  This model will create additional revenue for our Bend breweries because anyone who comes in with a Bend Oktoberfest beer token will likey spend money on additional food and drink.  It also allows you the opportunity to have the Bend Oktoberfest participant fall in love with the vibe of your space - creating a new customer for life.   

Additionally, just like you we are trying to recover from the global pandemic, and our inability to fundraise this last year for Downtown Bend.  We need your sponsorship to continue to provide things like flower baskets and holiday decorations in downtown.  Remember, Downtown Bend is cared for by a small nonprofit, and many of the duties that you might assume are the responsibility of the City of Bend (like sweeping the sidewalk or removing the snow), are actually managed by our nonprofit.  This sponsorship will allow us to continue our good work.

How does it work?

• You choose 1-3 of your brews to be featured as your "Bend Oktoberfest" beer (we'll promote these heavily)
• From Saturday 9/18 through Saturday 9/25, you accept Bend Oktoberfest tokens as payment for these specific Oktoberfest brews.
• After Oktoberfest, we meet with you and exchange tokens for cash at the following exchange rate:  First $1,000 in tokens free + wholesale cost for each additional token.  So, for example, if each beer is $1.50 wholesale and you accepted 5,000 tokens over the week, the accounting would be 5,000 x $1.50 = $7,500 gross - $1,000 donation = $6,500 paid to you.  

You'll also be part of a local and regional market, on our 'beer ballot' - and you'll get stage time at the event.  Read below for all the details! 

Sponsor Agrees To:

• Brewery Sponsor agrees to receive Oktoberfest Tokens from Sept 18 -25 as payment in full for previously identified Bend Oktoberfest specific beers.
• Brewery Sponsor agrees to turn in tokens for cash with the following agreement: All tokens bought back from brewery at the wholesale price per token,  minus $1,000 donation.
• Brewery Sponsor agrees to provide specific beers descriptions by Aug 10th (so we can use these descriptions in our marketing) 
• Brewery Sponsor agrees to train all staff to receive tokens, using the flyer/guide here. 
• Brewery Sponsor agrees to compete in the ‘best brew’ Oktoberfest contest ​

In Exchange, We Agree To:

• Sponsor listed on the Bend Oktoberfest website 
• Sponsor listed in the Oktoberfest guide (published in the Source and distributed to every sponsor location) 
• Sponsor provided with Bend Oktoberfest coasters to use leading up to the event

• Sponsor mentions on Facebook and Instagram marketing locally, as well as in Portland and Eugene leading up to the event.
• Sponsor mentions on Bend Radio Group throughout the week of the event 
• Sponsor mentions on Pandora leading up to the event
• Multiple sponsor features on both the Downtown Bend social media and the Oktoberfest social media 
• Sponsor logo on Oktoberfest posters 
• Sponsor provided with stage time at the event ​
• ​Sponsor invited to host one or more Oktoberfest event during the week of Bend Oktoberfest (that we'll had to our promotions)
